I could never picture a life without music in it. The soundtrack to each and every one of our lives, music touches, inspires..., and leaves us wanting for more. To quote Plato, "Music and rhythm find their way into the secret places of the soul." "
Just a good ol’ southern boy at heart, born and raised in Southern California, Chris became enamored with music at a very young age .Listening to the music of Elvis Presleys’, “Hound Dog,” Chris began to mimic “The King” as a toddler and he knew even then, the profound influence the entertainer would have on his life and musical endeavors. By the time Chris reached the age of 19, his venture into live performing became a reality, when he visited Universal Studios in Hollywood and had a chance to record one of Elvis’ songs, “Teddy Bear ” at a novelty recording studio.
"From the very first note, I was hooked. The surge of excitement, the rhythm, the beat and wonderment of being moved with self realization through the eyes of 'The King' and thus the epiphany of my musical endeavors." From that point on, Chris stayed involved in a constant pursuit of music and was a member of several different rock bands, choirs and live performance groups. He always enjoyed his unique ability to sound similar to Elvis Presley and soon enough he was approached to add his own rendition of an Elvis Presley performance to one of these live acts. Soon after came professional studded jump suits, side burns and the opportunity to perform as a live tribute to Elvis Presley throughout Southern California, Las Vegas and Arizona. In addition to his Elvis Presley tribute, he has expanded his shows to include Tom Jones and The Blues Brothers. Chris is also called upon to act as an MC and has enjoyed hosting and judging events across Southern California.
Chris continues to work on his own musical career and is currently writing songs while he develops his skills on the guitar. Chris hopes to progressively awaken, grow, and flourish individually as an artist, developing his own special talents and abilities apart from the tribute world.
